Dazzle Marlborough 2023

The Future of Work is – coming again soon in 2024!

———————–
Wednesday 12th June 2024
Future of Work Whānau Session / Career Expo
5.00-7.00pm
Marlborough Events Centre
———————–

“Future of Work” Conference showcases what the workplace of tomorrow looks like for local youth – inspiring them to become part of the region’s future. Future of Work supports students whether they’re headed to university, into trades, or have no idea what they want to do after school – assisting all young people to discover a purposeful pathway into their future.
Please note that this replaces the combined colleges “Career Expo” which is usually held at this time at Stadium 2000.
Local college students will head to the ‘Future of Work’ conference during the day, to enjoy an incredible line-up of inspiring speakers and the Interactive Workstation Zone.
Then, from 5.00-7.00pm, we warmly invite all Year 7-13 students and their whānau to come along, experience the Interactive Workstation Zone and connect with tertiary providers – including New Zealand universities.
There will be a short presentation by the universities starting at 5.30pm sharp, followed by the opportunity to ask questions and get information about their courses, hostels etc.
Come along and experience dozens of Interactive Workstations, and discover jobs and opportunities you have never heard of before!
Don’t miss out!

Drop for Youth Marlborough

2022 was bigger and better than ever!

In 2022 we’re humbled to announce we had 104 people jumping out of a plane to raise much-needed funds to support our work with Marlborough young people! Drop for Youth dares people to get outside of their comfort zone, just like our young people do through our programmes…

Drop for Youth Marlborough 2022

By participating in “Drop for Youth Marlborough 2022” our amazing Droppers are helping young people across the Marlborough region – at the same time as challenging themselves to overcome an obstacle and ticking skydiving off their bucket list!

Our 104 daring ‘droppers’ raised over $1,000 each to support our work with over 50% of Marlborough young people ❤️ Hugest of thanks to each and every one of our droppers – and the 1,500+ generous donors who supported their fundraising efforts!

The funds raised from this “Drop for Youth” fundraiser will be spent working with our tamariki and rangatahi in Marlborough. Our proven programmes are sequenced to help our young people aged 5 to 25 years old. This is what we call the ‘Transformational Journey’ – a journey that supports our tamariki and rangatahi become more confident and resilient, and find purpose and direction to live a fulfilling life.

Our vision: Thriving young people, strong community!

Thanks for your support ❤️

Stay tuned for future Drop for Youth events!
